These are wheel thrown porcelain beakers. They have been gently squeezed to form subtle grooves. They are decorated by hand using blue underglaze and have been finished with a clear, glossy glaze. Lovely as water or beer cups, or just in a row on your shelf.

The decoration is applied entirely by eye, using only a roughly drawn pencil mark as a guide which burns out during the glaze fire. Each beaker is thrown with the same amount of clay to approximately the same dimensions, but no two beakers are every exactly the same.
