This is a wheel thrown small porcelain bowl. I really don’t know why I feel compelled to call these sorbet bowls, I hardly ever eat sorbet and never at home!

What I do use these for often is a little helping of dessert. Most likely tiramisu.

Each has been decorated by hand using a blue underglaze and finished with a clear glaze.

The decoration is applied entirely by eye, using only a roughly drawn pencil mark as a guide which burns out during the glaze fire. As a result each piece is unique.
